Stones of the Dead


Flowers turned
Atop a grey bed
Pillars high
Stones of the Dead

My true love
He’s buried there
The memories
They rip and tear

I sit and wonder
Why he had to die
Left me without a chance
To say goodbye

My spirit lies
Within his grave
Leaving me alone
Without the love I crave

Give me the reason
He had to leave
Leaving me alone
To sit and grieve

I know everything
Must come to an end
My feelings start
To twist and bend

Why is it that
I was left alone
Now my heart
Has turned to stone

Now I sit here
In my sorrow
Knowing he won’t
Be here tomorrow

I have to learn
He’s gone forever
Never again
Will we be together

I wish I could follow
Him into the dark
On my heart
He’s left his mark

One day soon
I’ll join him there
The pain of missing him
Grows harder to bear

One day I will
Draw my last breath
Finally joining him
In his death

Death
It’s inescapable
It’s all around you

Sorrow
It’s in everyone’s hearts
Even when you’re happy, it’s there

Tears
Thousands shed by one
You’ll never remember why

Scars
Everybody has them
And each one tells a story

Emotions
Whether good or bad
It’s better to show them

Turn Back the Clocks

I can’t turn back the clocks
Its something I can’t achieve
I would turn back so many months
Back to New Year’s Eve

I can’t turn back the clocks
And I can’t go on my charms
I would do anything
To be back in your arms

I can’t turn back the clocks
If I could things would be better
Things would all be different
We’d always be together

I can’t turn back the clocks
Simply something I cannot do
So instead I wrote this poem
To express that I love you

I Don’t Love You

Why would you do that to me?
I thought I meant something to you
Your words are like bullets
Like saying we were through

Why would you do that to me?
Did our love mean nothing at all?
Don’t you remember your promise,
To catch me whenever I fall?

Why would you do that to me?
When I gave you my heart
I cared for you so much
I loved you from the start

Why would you do that to me?
And you may think that I do
I’m just here to say
That I don’t love you

Crystal Clear

You don’t love me anymore
You’ve made that crystal clear
My heart swells with sadness
Because I want you here

I miss you so very much
I’ve made that crystal clear
I want you back with me
For I still hold you dear

You want nothing to do with me
You’ve made that crystal clear
You give me the cold shoulder
And make sure I’m not near

I want you back in my arms
I’ve made that crystal clear
But you are slowly changing
There’s something that I fear

You don’t want to be here anymore
You’ve made that crystal clear
But please do not leave
For I still want you here

Now you’re officially gone
You’ve made that crystal clear
You’re no longer on this earth
But I won’t shed a tear

Never Together

We’ll never be together again
It saddens me to say so
If I could have my way
We’d be together, I know

We’ll never be together again
I really wish we could
Things would all be different
Better, I know they would

We’ll never be together again
I hate the fact that it’s true
Because it may really suck
Not being with you

We’ll never be together again
Our relationship was a mess
Things went from bad to worse

You are not alone
I know what you’re going through
I know just how you feel
For I have felt it too

Never think you are
We’re the same in many ways
From what I’ve heard so far

You are not alone
When your life feels like hell
You can tell me, trust me too
For I would never tell

You are not alone
That’s something that is true
There’s something that I’m hiding
I feel alone too

Fallen Angel

Angel with the broken wings
One without a halo
Fallen down to the earth
Rejected from the sky

Angel laying on the ground
Face stained red with tears
Crying up at the sky
Losing grip on sanity

Angel breathing shakily
Heart is hardly beating
Screaming for forgiveness
Trying to prove remorse

Angel wandering aimlessly
With nowhere to go
Lost in heart as well as soul
Running from the dark

Angel fallen on the leaves
Begging death to come
Fading out, no life left
Saying goodbye to the sky

Angel found dead on the ground
One without a name
Known as Fallen Angel
A lesson hard to learn

Scared and Lost

Faces in the crowd
Become twisted and unknown
When I pass, they become empty
Scared and lost, I scream

Fallen into the dark
I can hardly breathe
I’m lost and alone
My face is red, tears stream

Collapsed onto the ground
I can’t even move
My eyes slowly close
I start to dream death’s dream

Giving up on life
Give me the chance to die
Let me go to eternal darkness
The pain of death, extreme

October Night

On a cold,yet windless Octobe night
We share kisses beneath the violet moon
The tender and sweet caress of twilight
It's moments like this that end all too soon

Your soft, quiet voice, it takes me higher
Even as the cold autumn wind doth blow
Let us warm and dance around the fire
And here I'll bask in the love you show

Would you plant this kiss, leave it on my lips
I love you dearly, please just give me this
Hold me closely, place your hands on my hips
And when you must leave, I will miss this bliss

Tell me, do you love me, please do not lie
Answer honestly, please don't let me die

Magical Moonlight

I wish you no harm, speak softly to me
Hold me ever so softly in your heart
What could this night possibly for us start
To my heart, I shall give you the sole key
Will you be the one that will set me free
To me, your passion is the sweetest tart
My heart will be lonely when we must part
I know, in the end, together we'll be

Under this sweet and magical moonlight
Take me, let me be lost in love's abyss
Fill my soulwith this wonderous delight
Give me this moment of true love's pure bliss
Don't let me go til we must say goodnight
Put your lips on mine, we'll share true love's kiss
